Our Leadership
Brian Connelly is a Wall Street NYC trained capital markets specialist with 20 years of drug development experience in San Diego. He was recruited into the industry by Avanir Pharmaceuticals CEO Jerry Yakatan.
At Avanir, among other things, they transformed the shareholder base and funded Avanir’s lead neurology program to a successful NDA, setting the table for Avanir’s $3.4bl sale to Otsuka. Following Avanir, Brian worked with Jerry at Cobalis Corp., Yagadol LP, and IriSys LLC, Jerry’s closely held CDMO, through it’s sale to NASDQ-listed Recro Pharma, Inc. (REPH).
Bullish on San Diego, Brian formed La Jolla Healthcare Leaders to showcase the region’s talent and technology, and support high-caliber community interaction.
